Animation

Incorporating movement into your charts can help to engage your audiences more and bring your data to the next level. Animation can help you highlight certain aspects of the data and allow the audience to gain a deeper insight into the data by displaying it at a moderate speed.

1. In the upper-right corner, click EDIT.

2. In the right-hand sidebar, click Animation to expand the section.

3. Check the box next to Enable Play Animation.

4. Set the animation speed by adding Duration in milliseconds (ms).

Animation speed shouldn’t be too slow that it bores your audience, but also not too fast for the human eye to follow. The optimal speed for animation is between 200 and 500 ms.

Animation will automatically start when your chart is loaded. You can activate it again by clicking on the play icon [icon] at the top of the chart.
